This policy covers the Storage Studio app for Android (package com.snatik.storage.app),
published on Google Play by Roman Kushnarenko. The short version: the app has no ads, no
trackers and no analytics, and it never sends your data to us or anyone else.
What the app collects
Nothing. Storage Studio has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third-party analytics. We do not collect, receive or store any personal or device information on any server.
How it uses your device's data
Storage Studio is an inspection tool, so it reads a lot from the device it runs on - files, installed apps, databases, content providers, system statistics, network usage, notifications and the clipboard, among others. All of it is processed locally, only while you are on the relevant screen, and shown to you. It is not uploaded, sold or shared.
Features that send data - only where you point them
A few features exist specifically to move data off the device. They are off by default and act only on destinations you configure, usually on your own local network:
- File transfer / Receive files - sends the files you choose to a device you pair with.
- Agent API - serves an HTTP (REST/MCP) endpoint you enable and protect with a token.
- External collector - streams monitor events to a collector URL you enter yourself.
In every case the data goes to a destination you specify. We never receive it.
Permissions
Permissions are requested only to power the app's inspection features on your own device - for example all-files access (to browse storage as a file manager), package and usage access (to list and size apps), notification access (for the notification monitor) and foreground-service permissions (to keep recorders running while you multitask). Advanced, system-level actions may additionally use elevated access via Shizuku or root, which you set up yourself. Permissions are used only for the matching in-app feature and never to send data anywhere.
Sharing, sale and children
We do not share or sell any data, because none is collected. Storage Studio is a technical utility not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.
